My three great aunts looked very much alike, and when I was young I couldn’t tell them apart. Each had beautifully white hair tinted to eliminate the dreaded “yellow” that would have been socially unacceptable. My young eyes finally identified Aunt Polly’s hair as purple, Aunt Idamae’s pink, and Aunt Louise’s blue. Problem solved!
